Lake Lure is dropped approximately 10-15 feet from 1/1-3/31 each year. The pontoon boat will not be available for these dates. 🚤 We do have an 18 FT pontoon boat docked in the boat house available as a separate rental. Please inquire for more information. It is not included in the listing price! We added this amenity because boats are typically sold out months in advance on Lake Lure. Our prices are cheaper than all other boat rentals on Lake Lure! *** This is available only during the spring, summer and fall months when the lake is not drained! This is one of the historic properties from the 1960’s era of Lake Lure! It has been reimagined and brought back to life with a complete remodel both inside and out. Please note that with a house this age you’ll find floors, steps and surfaces that may be uneven in places, but of course easy to walk on. While guests find the charm in this, we want you to know before you book! If you are looking for a remote, massive house with nothing to do, this may not be the place for you! If you are looking for a fun filled trip in an intimate, cozy home with direct lake access, pontoon boat, kayaks and paddle boards, this is it. Being a mountain lake, there are elevation changes from the road to the home and lake. This means there are multiple sets of stairs between the driveway and lake frontage. The driveway can hold up to three SMALL vehicles (sedans) if you are driving larger SUV’S/ trucks I would say only two vehicles. While all of our properties have routine pest control, we are surrounded by nature and at times nature will find its way inside. ———————————————————— 🛌 Bedrooms: There are three bedrooms in total. 1-Queen bed 2-Queen bed. 3. Bunk bed- consists of two full sized mattresses with a twin pull out trundle. Kitchen: ☕️ All brand new fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig & coffee maker, toaster. Dining room table for up to 6 people. More additional seating is available outside on the deck. Fully stocked with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, strainers, plates, bowls, glasses and pretty much anything you would need to make a full meal to enjoy! We provide coffee, sugar, K-cups, and creamer for you! Bathrooms: 🚿 Upper level floor- Stand up shower. Lower level bathroom- Stand up shower. Both fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, blow dryer and fresh towels and wash cloths. Cleaning: 🧹 Brand new stackable washer and dryer, fully stocked paper towels, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, iron and ironing board, vacuum, broom and general cleaning supplies. Outdoor: 🔥 Cozy up on the outdoor deck with sectional couch, propane fire pit for you to enjoy. Four lounge chairs with two umbrellas to lay in the sun. 🍗 Outdoor dining table that seats 6 guests. BBQ grill that is ran on propane and charcoal. There is also a little high top bar area that can seat two people. Hot tub that can hold 6 guests. We ask that you please do not bring any pets in the tub! $200 additional cleaning fee will be added if there is pet hair in the tub. Lake: ☀️ 🛝 🛶 Jump right in the lake from our dock! We offer 2 kayaks, 2 stand up paddle boards, and paddles for all free of charge. We have floaties and life vests so you can enjoy the lake without having to bring a thing from home or the store! Pack & Play is available if needed- please bring your own sheet for the pack and play!

We are also working to restore internet service soon. Due to the recent hurricane, the boat is currently unusable, and there is some storm-related debris near the docks. Please note that some roads may be closed, but Google Maps will route you the best way to reach our home. Rest assured, we are prioritizing your comfort and safety during these times. While the home can accommodate 8 total guests we recommend a maximum of 6 adults to fit comfortably into the available sleeping arrangements. Our house rates are based off 6 guests and we can accommodate up to 8 for additional fees. Please be honest and accurate about how many guests are staying when you book. The 7th and 8th guests are $25 extra per guest per night. Undisclosed guests will be charged at a rate of $100 per night. Any guests over 6 guests will be charged $250 per night. There are approximately 40 steps from the parking lot to the homes entrance.
